Four thermal power plant units and one thermal power plant went into repair at once

by .During the day, four power units went into emergency repair at thermal power plants. In addition, one of the thermal power plants was sent for repair in the east of the country. At the same time, as the press service of NEC "Ukrenergo" reports, two TPP units have returned to work after repairs.
"However, currently the electricity produced by power plants of all types is sufficient to ensure the energy supply of all legal and household consumers," the company assured.
At the same time, it is noted that despite the noticeable warming, the general level of consumption remains high. This is typical for the winter period, but still creates an additional load on the power system.
There is no export of electricity today. Imports are carried out almost around the clock from Slovakia, Romania and Moldova. The total volume is 3,981 MWh, with maximum capacity in individual hours up to 468 MW.
In total, as of December 20, 21 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region were cut off due to bad weather. The situation in the Donetsk region is still difficult – as of this morning, more than 60 settlements in the region remain without power. Work is also ongoing to restore energy supply to consumers in the Kharkiv region.
Due to technical damage, consumers in the Lviv region are without power.
Due to hostilities and other reasons, 442 settlements remain without electricity. As a result of shelling, there is new damage to Oblenergo networks in Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions.
