The power industry took out three units of the TPP for repair

Over the course of the day, one unit went into emergency repair at the thermal power plants, and two more went into ongoing repair, NEC "Ukrenergo" reports.

At the same time, the company emphasized that currently the electricity produced by power plants of all types is sufficient to ensure the energy supply of all consumers.

The company added that warming continues to affect the level of electricity consumption. In particular, on December 18, the daily maximum consumption in the morning was 3.4% lower than on December 15.

However, the overall level of consumption remains high. This is typical for the winter period, but still creates an additional load on the power system. Therefore, it is important to consume electricity sparingly, explained the energy experts.

Currently, there is no export of electricity, imports are carried out almost around the clock from Slovakia, Romania and Moldova. The total volume is 4,981 MWh, with maximum capacity in individual hours up to 475 MW.
