The Russian military is "pushing the enemy away from the vital population centers of the Russian Federation," Vladimir Putin said.
The aggressor country Russia is trying to create a "demilitarized line" on the territory of Ukraine. The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, said this at a meeting with representatives, Russian mass media reported on Wednesday, January 31.
"This line should be at such a distance from our territory that would ensure security, bearing in mind long-range means of foreign, primarily production," Putin said and added that the Ukrainians apparently use such means "for shelling peaceful cities."
According to him, Russian military units are engaged in "pushing the enemy away from vitally important population centers of the Russian Federation."
"That's what we will do. And this is the main motive of our boys who fight and risk their lives – to protect the homeland, to protect our people. We will push it back," Putin said cynically.
