The bodies of two dead men were found in the Tisza River

Border guards discovered the bodies of two men in Tisza. Most likely, they died while trying to cross the river. This is reported by the State Border Service.

"The drowned were found yesterday evening in Transcarpathia during patrolling of the Ukrainian-Romanian border," the message reads.

Rescuers of the State Emergency Service and National Police officers arrived at the scene.

"Due to high rapids and a strong current, it was only possible to pull the body out of the water in the morning… The identities of the dead are being established," the DPSU added.
